On Wednesday, September 13, 2017, the Women’s Leadership Network of Dubuque hosted the 15th annual Women’s Leadership Conference, “Empowered Women Empower Women.” The morning started off with keynote speaker, Holly Hoffman. Holly was the last remaining member of the Espada Tribe on Season 21 of CBS’ hit reality show “Survivor Nicaragua.” Holly inspired us by sharing her message of positivity, determination and confidence. After the morning keynote attendees chose between a political panel made up of powerful local women in politics or Permission to Say Yes. In the afternoon, ladies got to choose between an Overcoming Adversity Panel, that featured local business women and a Legal Perspective on Social Media with Davin Curtiss. We ended the day with Holly Hoffman focusing on modeling behavior, connecting, and involving others.
