Do we have what it takes to lead our employees, staff or offices into the future, through change or through difficult times? Can I manage the people, resources and demands, placed on me by upper management? Am I a better manager than leader? How would I know and what signs can I look for to determine if I’m doing a good job at either? Cindy Yslas will walk us through the discussion between both Management and Leadership and what skills can be fine tuned to become better at both. 

Meet Cindy:

Lucinda (Cindy) M. Yslas is a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant who, during her 26 year career in military training, developed a keen ability to see problem areas in an organization and facilitate teamwork and process improvement/development in large and small groups.  Cindy taught management, leadership, problem solving and organizational development classes in the College of Enlisted Professional Military Education, developing and delivering over 5500 hours of curriculum and instruction to enlisted and civilian students annually.  She is an enthusiastic, engaging public speaker who developed her personal style over the course of emceeing for over 50 functions, dinners, social events and award ceremonies in the military and civilian sector.
