March Luncheon featuring Dr. Liza Johnson

We will dive into Six Seconds’: The Emotional Intelligence Network powerful framework – Know Yourself, Choose Yourself, and Give Yourself (KCG). Emotional intelligence is the ability to use emotions effectively, and it is the foundation for life success and overall wellbeing. In this session, participants will use KCG to practice and put action towards these foundational skills.

Dr. Liza Johnson is the Director of Personal Empowerment and Assistant Director to the President at the University of Dubuque (UD). She created, directs, and teaches UD’s personal empowerment undergraduate course, which helps students develop the core skills necessary to be successful in making sustained and positive change with an emphasis on emotional intelligence competencies.  Dr. Johnson is the author of the emotional intelligence curriculum published by Six Seconds called Know.
