January Luncheon 2011

WLN was honored to host a wellness panel at the January 25, 2011 luncheon. Panel included Roberta Proffitt Lavin, PhD, APRN – BC, Chair and Professor of Nursing and Health at Clarke College, Julie Ehlinger, ARNP in the Cardiology Department at Medical Associates, and Holly Paulsen, dietitian at Mercy Medical Center. Our experts answered questions from WLN members that ranged from healthy eating and living to fad diets to calorie counting. Members gained many valuable insights from the panel and plan to implement them in their New Year’s resolutions. WLN would like to thank Roberta, Julie and Holly for their valuable time and expertise. Also, thank you to our members for taking time to attend this important luncheon and to the Diamond Jo Casino for providing us with a dynamite facility.
