Atthe end of the day….

If asked what path I took in life…as my life would come to an end.

With wisdom I would just smile and say, “Well, it just depends:

Sometimes I was the leader, and sometimes I followed the lead.

Sometimes I was the harvest; sometimes I planted the seed.

Sometimes I was the voice, and other times I was theear.

Sometimes I was the courage; sometimes I was the fear.

Sometimes I had the answers, and sometimes I could only ask “why?”

Sometimes I found joy in the victory; sometimes I had to find it in the try.

Sometimes I was on top of it, and sometimes so far below.

Sometimes I had a million destinations, sometimes no where to go.

But no matter what each day brought, it was my life and one I am proud to own.

For through it all, I gave my love, and to me much love was shown.

So at the end of the day…I had some dreams realized and some dreams

shattered,

With wisdom, I just smile and say…no matter what path I took in life

… I loved…I lived…I mattered.”
